Local Government Code § 161.151","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this subchapter:\n(1) \"Category One violation\" means a violation of the ethics code adopted by the commission as to which it is generally not difficult to ascertain whether the violation occurred or did not occur, including:\n(A) the failure by a person required to file a statement or report required under the ethics code to:\n(i) file the statement or report in a manner that complies with applicable requirements; or\n(ii) file the statement or report in a timely manner;\n(B) a misrepresentation in a report required under the ethics code; or\n(C) a failure to respond in a timely manner to a written notice under Section 161.156(b).\n(2) \"Category Two violation\" means a violation of the ethics code adopted by the commission that is not a Category One violation.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 799 (S.B. 1368), Sec. 1, eff.
