Local Government Code § 176.002","heading":"APPLICABILITY TO VENDORS AND OTHER PERSONS.","body":"(a) This chapter applies to a person who is:\n(1) a vendor; or\n(2) a local government officer of a local governmental entity.\n(b) A person is not subject to the disclosure requirements of this chapter if the person is:\n(1) a state, a political subdivision of a state, the federal government, or a foreign government; or\n(2) an employee or agent of an entity described by Subdivision (1), acting in the employee's or agent's official capacity.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 1014 (H.B. 914), Sec. 1, eff.
