Local Government Code § 211.054 (2)","heading":"CERTAIN DWELLING UNIT LOT SIZE REQUIREMENTS PROHIBITED.","body":"A municipality may not adopt or enforce an ordinance, rule, or other measure that requires:\n(1) a residential lot to be:\n(A) larger than 3,000 square feet;\n(B) wider than 30 feet; or\n(C) deeper than 75 feet; or\n(2) if regulating the density of dwelling units in a residential development, a ratio of dwelling units per acre that prevents a single-family home from being built on a residential lot that is at least 3,000 square feet.\nAdded by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1127 (S.B. 15), Sec. 1, eff.
