Local Government Code § 231.229","heading":"ENFORCEMENT; PENALTY.","body":"(a) The commissioners court may adopt orders to enforce this subchapter or an order or development regulation adopted under this subchapter.\n(b) A person commits an offense if the person violates this subchapter or an order or development regulation adopted under this subchapter. An offense under this subsection is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than $500 or more than $1,000. Each day that a violation occurs constitutes a separate offense.
