Local Government Code § 254.056","heading":"SIGNATURES; SEAL.","body":"(a) An obligation issued by a municipality under this chapter must be:\n(1) signed by the mayor or the presiding officer of the municipality;\n(2) countersigned by the municipality's secretary or clerk; and\n(3) impressed with the seal of the municipality.\n(b) An obligation authorized by the board under this chapter must be:\n(1) signed by the presiding officer of the board;\n(2) countersigned by the secretary or assistant secretary; and\n(3) impressed with the seal of the board.\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 227, Sec. 9, eff.
