Local Government Code § 281.026","heading":"BYLAWS.","body":"The board may adopt bylaws to govern:\n(1) the time and place of its meetings;\n(2) the manner of conducting its meetings;\n(3) the powers, duties, and responsibilities of its officers and employees;\n(4) the disbursement of funds by checks, drafts, and warrants;\n(5) the appointment and authority of director committees;\n(6) the keeping of records and accounts; and\n(7) other matters that the board considers appropriate.\nActs 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 149, Sec. 1, eff.
