Local Government Code § 281.044","heading":"FACILITIES.","body":"(a) An authority may establish, acquire, lease as lessee or lessor, purchase, construct, improve, enlarge, equip, repair, operate, or maintain all or a designated part of:\n(1) a public improvement such as a civic center, civic center building, auditorium, opera house, music hall, exhibition hall, coliseum, museum, library, recreational building or facility, or other public building or related facility; or\n(2) a structure, parking area, or facility located at or in the immediate vicinity of the public improvement and to be used in connection with the public improvement for off-street parking or storage of motor vehicles or other conveyances.\n(b) A lease made under Subsection (a) may contain any terms the board considers appropriate.\nActs 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 149, Sec. 1, eff.
