Local Government Code § 281.051","heading":"EMINENT DOMAIN.","body":"(a) An authority may acquire land, easements, or other property within its boundaries by condemnation. The authority may condemn the fee simple title or an easement. The board shall institute condemnation proceedings in the name of the authority and shall direct the proceedings.\n(b) The manner in which an authority exercises the right of eminent domain is governed by Chapter 21, Property Code.\nActs 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 149, Sec. 1, eff.
