Local Government Code § 301.001","heading":"AUTHORITY TO ESTABLISH RECREATIONAL OR CULTURAL FACILITY.","body":"(a) In this chapter, \"recreational or cultural facility\" means an auditorium, civic center, convention center, or exposition center.\n(b) The commissioners court of a county and the governing body of a municipality in that county may jointly erect, acquire, equip, maintain, and operate a recreational or cultural facility.\nActs 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 149, Sec. 1, eff.
