Local Government Code § 303.031","heading":"REGISTERED OFFICE AND AGENT.","body":"(a) A corporation shall continuously maintain a registered office and registered agent in this state.\n(b) The registered office shall be the same as the corporation's principal office. The registered agent may be:\n(1) an individual resident of this state whose business office is the same as the registered office; or\n(2) a domestic or foreign profit or nonprofit corporation that is authorized to transact business or conduct affairs in this state and that has a principal or business office that is the same as the registered office.\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 227, Sec. 11, eff.
