Local Government Code § 303.124","heading":"DOCUMENTS AS PRIMA FACIE EVIDENCE.","body":"A court, public office, or official body shall receive the following documents as prima facie evidence of the facts, or the existence or nonexistence of the facts, stated in the documents:\n(1) a certificate issued by the secretary of state under this chapter;\n(2) a copy, certified by the secretary of state, of a document filed in the office of the secretary of state under this chapter; and\n(3) a certificate of the secretary of state under the state seal as to the existence or nonexistence of a fact relating to a corporation that would not appear from a document or certificate under Subdivision (1) or (2).\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 227, Sec. 11, eff.
