Local Government Code § 308.002","heading":"ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE.","body":"(a) A municipality may establish and maintain a band and appropriate municipal funds for the maintenance and operation of the band as determined by the municipal governing body.\n(b) The total appropriation for the band for a year may not exceed the equivalent of three-tenths of a cent for each one dollar of taxable value of property within the municipality.\nActs 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 149, Sec. 1, eff.
