Local Government Code § 336.101","heading":"BYLAWS.","body":"The board may adopt bylaws to govern:\n(1) the time, place, and manner of conducting board meetings;\n(2) the powers, duties, and responsibilities of the board's officers and employees;\n(3) the disbursement of money by a check, draft, or warrant;\n(4) the appointment and authority of board committees;\n(5) the keeping of accounts and other records; and\n(6) any other matter the board considers appropriate.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 883 (S.B. 1205), Sec. 2, eff.
