Local Government Code § 336.103","heading":"EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR.","body":"(a) The board may employ an executive director to administer the affairs of the district under policies and requirements established by the board.\n(b) The board shall set the compensation of the executive director.\n(c) The board may delegate to the executive director the board's authority to hire, establish the compensation of, review the performance of, discipline, or remove a district employee.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 883 (S.B. 1205), Sec. 2, eff.
