Local Government Code § 344.056","heading":"NOTICE OF ELECTION.","body":"In addition to the notice required by Section 4.003(c), Election Code, the temporary directors of a proposed district shall give notice of an election to create a district by publishing a substantial copy of the election order in a newspaper with general circulation in the proposed district once a week for two consecutive weeks. The first publication must appear before the 35th day before the date set for the election.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1295, Sec. 1, eff.
