Local Government Code § 344.060","heading":"DISSOLUTION OF TEMPORARY BOARD.","body":"If a district has not been created under this chapter before the fifth anniversary of the date a district is first proposed by the governing body or mayor, as appropriate, under Section 344.051:\n(1) the temporary board is dissolved on that date; and\n(2) the proposed district may not be created under this chapter.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1295, Sec. 1, eff.
