Local Government Code § 375.097","heading":"HEARINGS EXAMINER; ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURE ACT.","body":"(a) The board may appoint a hearings examiner to conduct any hearing called by the board, including a hearing required by Chapter 395. The hearings examiner may be an employee or contractor of the district, or a member of the district's board.\n(b) The hearing shall be conducted in accordance with Chapter 2001, Government Code.\nAdded by Acts 1991, 72nd Leg., ch. 16, Sec. 13.05(a), eff.
