Local Government Code § 383.004","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this chapter:\n(1) \"Board\" means the board of directors of the district.\n(2) \"Bonds\" includes notes and other obligations.\n(3) \"Commissioners court\" means the governing body of the county.\n(4) \"Cost\" has the meaning assigned by Section 501.152.\n(5) \"County\" means the county in which the district is located.\n(6) \"Director\" means a member of the board.\n(7) \"District\" means a county development district created under this chapter.\n(8) \"Project\" has the meaning assigned by Sections 505.151-505.156.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 995, Sec. 5, eff.
