Local Government Code § 383.049","heading":"BYLAWS.","body":"The board may adopt bylaws to govern:\n(1) the time, place, and manner of conducting board meetings;\n(2) the powers, duties, and other responsibilities of the board's officers and employees;\n(3) the disbursement of money by a check, draft, or warrant;\n(4) the appointment and authority of director committees;\n(5) the keeping of accounts and other records; and\n(6) any other matter the board considers appropriate.\nAdded by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 23.05, eff.
