Local Government Code § 501.304","heading":"CONTENTS OF CERTIFICATE OF AMENDMENT.","body":"The certificate of amendment must:\n(1) state the name of the corporation;\n(2) if the amendment alters a provision of the certificate of formation, identify by reference or describe the altered provision and include the provision's text as amended;\n(3) if the amendment is an addition to the certificate of formation, state that fact and include the text of each provision added; and\n(4) state that the amendment was adopted or approved by the governing body of the authorizing unit and give the date the governing body adopted or approved the amendment.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 885 (H.B. 2278), Sec. 3.01, eff.
