Local Government Code § 501.305","heading":"EXECUTION AND VERIFICATION OF CERTIFICATE OF AMENDMENT.","body":"(a) A certificate of amendment shall be executed:\n(1) on behalf of the corporation by the president or a vice president of the corporation and by the secretary or an assistant secretary of the corporation; or\n(2) by the presiding officer of the governing body of the corporation's authorizing unit and by the secretary or clerk of the governing body.\n(b) One of the officers who signs the certificate of amendment shall verify the certificate of amendment.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 885 (H.B. 2278), Sec. 3.01, eff.
