Local Government Code § 504.051","heading":"BOARD OF DIRECTORS.","body":"(a) The board of directors of a Type A corporation consists of at least five directors.\n(b) A director is appointed by the governing body of the authorizing municipality, serves at the pleasure of that governing body, and may be removed by that governing body at any time without cause.\n(c) The governing body of the authorizing municipality shall determine the number of directors and the length of each director's term, except that the length of a director's term may not exceed six years.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 885 (H.B. 2278), Sec. 3.01, eff.
