Local Government Code § 54.019","heading":"IMPRISONMENT; CONTEMPT.","body":"(a) A person is not subject to personal attachment or imprisonment for the failure to pay a civil penalty assessed under this subchapter.\n(b) This subchapter does not affect the power of a court to imprison a person for contempt of valid court orders or the availability of remedies or procedures for the collection of a judgment assessing civil penalties.
