Local Government Code § 87.012","heading":"OFFICERS SUBJECT TO REMOVAL.","body":"The district judge may, under this subchapter, remove from office:\n(1) a district attorney;\n(2) a county attorney;\n(3) a county judge;\n(4) a county commissioner;\n(5) a county clerk;\n(6) a district clerk;\n(7) a district and county clerk;\n(8) a county treasurer;\n(9) a sheriff;\n(10) a county surveyor;\n(11) a county tax assessor-collector;\n(12) a constable;\n(13) a justice of the peace;\n(14) a member of the board of trustees of an independent school district; and\n(15) a county officer, not otherwise named by this section, whose office is created under the constitution or other law of this state.\nActs 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 149, Sec. 1, eff.
