Natural Resources Code § 131.142","heading":"TERM AND TRANSFERABILITY OF PERMIT.","body":"(a) A surface mining permit issued under this chapter for uranium and uranium ore shall be issued for a term of not more than 10 years.\n(b) Except as provided in Sections 131.155 through 131.158 of this code, a surface mining permit is nontransferable.\nActs 1977, 65th Leg., p. 2622, ch. 871, art.
