Natural Resources Code § 134.017","heading":"PETITION FOR DESIGNATION.","body":"(a) An affected person is entitled:\n(1) before an application is filed under Section 134.052, to petition the commission to designate an area unsuitable for surface coal mining operations; or\n(2) to petition the commission to terminate a designation.\n(b) The petition shall contain:\n(1) allegations of facts; and\n(2) supporting evidence that would tend to establish the allegations.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 76, Sec. 12.02(a), eff.
