Natural Resources Code § 134.059","heading":"NOTIFICATION BY COMMISSION.","body":"(a) The commission shall notify local governmental bodies, planning agencies, and sewage and water treatment authorities in the locality of a proposed surface coal mining operation that the operator intends to conduct a surface mining operation.\n(b) The notice shall indicate the application number and the county courthouse in which a copy of the proposed surface coal mining and reclamation plan can be inspected.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 76, Sec. 12.02(a), eff.
