Natural Resources Code § 134.071","heading":"TERM.","body":"(a) A permit is issued for a term not to exceed five years.\n(b) The commission may grant a permit for a specified longer term if:\n(1) an applicant demonstrates that a specified longer term is reasonably needed to allow the applicant to obtain necessary financing for equipment or the opening of the operation; and\n(2) the application for the specified longer term is complete.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 76, Sec. 12.02(a), eff.
