Natural Resources Code § 141.102","heading":"CRIMINAL PENALTY.","body":"(a) A person who knowingly, wilfully, or with criminal negligence violates Subchapter B of this chapter or a rule, order, or permit of the commission issued under that subchapter commits an offense.\n(b) An offense under Subsection (a) of this section is punishable by a fine of not more than $10,000 a day for each day a violation is committed.\n(c) Venue for prosecution of an alleged violation of this section is in a court of competent jurisdiction in the county in which the violation is alleged to have occurred.\nAdded by Acts 1983, 68th Leg., p. 5263, ch. 967, Sec. 11, eff.
