Natural Resources Code § 31.002","heading":"EXEMPTION FROM CERTAIN REAL ESTATE TRANSACTION LAWS.","body":"(a) Unless the statute specifically states that the statute applies to the land office, the following statutes do not apply to the land office:\n(1) a statute that would require the land office to provide a notice or disclosure to a buyer of real property; and\n(2) a statute relating to the sale, purchase, or financing of real property by an executory contract, including a contract for deed or other similar sale.\n(b) This section does not affect the application of a statute described by Subsection (a)(2) to a party involved in a transaction with the land office.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 234 (H.B. 1853), Sec. 1, eff.
