Natural Resources Code § 31.0515","heading":"DUTIES RELATED TO THE ALAMO COMPLEX.","body":"Text of section effective until September 01, 2027\n(a) The land office shall:\n(1) employ staff necessary to preserve and maintain the Alamo complex and contract for professional services of qualified consultants;\n(2) commission as a peace officer an Alamo complex ranger who has been certified as qualified to be a peace officer by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement; and\n(3) prepare an annual budget and work plan, including preservation, future construction, and usual maintenance for the Alamo complex, including buildings on the Alamo property, their contents, and their grounds.\n(b) An Alamo complex ranger commissioned as a peace officer under this section has the powers, privileges, and immunities of a peace officer while carrying out duties as an Alamo complex ranger under this section.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 1046 (H.B. 3726), Sec. 1, eff.
