Natural Resources Code § 51.171","heading":"PURPOSE; APPLICATION OF OTHER LAW.","body":"(a) This subchapter controls the purchase and lease of vacant land and the authority of the commissioner and the board to:\n(1) determine whether a vacancy exists; and\n(2) sell and lease vacant land.\n(b) To the extent a provision of this subchapter conflicts with another law relating to vacant land or Chapter 2001, Government Code, this subchapter controls.\nAmended by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1418, Sec. 1, eff.
