Natural Resources Code § 51.306","heading":"CONSIDERATION.","body":"The consideration paid to the state for the grant of the easement under Section 51.304 of this code shall be determined by the commissioner to compensate the state for any damage to the land or to the use of the land caused by the easement, but if the commissioner determines that the benefits resulting from the grant of the easement are more than the damage, the commissioner may waive the consideration for the easement.\nActs 1977, 65th Leg., p. 2440, ch. 871, art.
