Natural Resources Code § 53.023","heading":"IMMEDIATE LEASE.","body":"If the commissioner determines that a certain mineral is located on a state tract subject to prospect under this subchapter, a lease for that mineral may be issued immediately on the application for the prospect permit if the applicant identifies the mineral in the application and requests the immediate issuance of the lease.\nAdded by Acts 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 923, Sec. 20, eff.
