Natural Resources Code § 62.161","heading":"ORDER CALLING ELECTION TO DISSOLVE; NOTICE OF ELECTION.","body":"(a) The commissioners court may order an election to dissolve a board.\n(b) The commissioners court shall give notice of the election. The notice must include:\n(1) the name of the board;\n(2) the proposal that the board be dissolved; and\n(3) the place, date, and time of the election.\n(c) The notice shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the county once a week for two consecutive weeks. The first publication must occur not later than the 21st day before the date on which the election will be held.\nAdded by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1135, Sec. 1, eff.
