Natural Resources Code § 81.151","heading":"PENALTY FOR CAMPAIGNING.","body":"A person who receives a salary from funds provided under this title and who uses his time or a state-owned automobile for campaign purposes or for the purpose of furthering the candidacy of his employer or any other candidate for state office is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction shall be fined not less than $100 nor more than $500 and shall be confined in jail for not less than 30 nor more than 90 days.\nActs 1977, 65th Leg., p. 2511, ch. 871, art.
