Natural Resources Code § 86.184","heading":"USE AS GAS LIFT.","body":"(a) A producer of either sweet or sour gas or casinghead gas may use the gas as gas lift in the bona fide production of oil if the gas is not used in excess of 10,000 cubic feet per barrel of oil produced.\n(b) To prevent waste in a case where the facts in the case warrant it, the commission may permit the use of additional quantities of gas to lift oil provided:\n(1) all the gas used in excess of 10,000 cubic feet for each barrel of oil is processed for natural gasoline; and\n(2) the residue is burned for carbon black when it is reproduced.\nActs 1977, 65th Leg., p. 2539, ch. 871, art.
