Natural Resources Code § 89.081","heading":"CAUSE OF ACTION FOR DISPROPORTIONATE SHARE OF COST.","body":"If an operator or nonoperator owns only a partial interest in the well or oil and gas and the operator or nonoperator pays a larger proportion of the cost of plugging the well than his proportionate interest in the well or oil and gas, he has a cause of action against the other operators and nonoperators for their proportionate shares of the cost of plugging.\nActs 1977, 65th Leg., p. 2554, ch. 871, art.
