Occupations Code § 1001.002","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this chapter:\n(1) \"Board\" means the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.\n(2) \"Engineer\" means a person licensed to engage in the practice of engineering in this state.\n(3) \"Land surveyor,\" \"licensed state land surveyor,\" \"professional surveying,\" \"registered professional land surveyor,\" and \"state land surveying\" have the meanings assigned by Section 1071.002.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1421, Sec. 1, eff.
