Occupations Code § 1001.101","heading":"BOARD MEMBERSHIP.","body":"(a) The Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors consists of nine members appointed by the governor with the advice and consent of the senate as follows:\n(1) five engineers;\n(2) one land surveyor; and\n(3) three members who represent the public.\n(b) Appointments to the board shall be made without regard to the race, color, disability, sex, religion, age, or national origin of the appointee.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1421, Sec. 1, eff.
