Occupations Code § 1001.309","heading":"CERTIFICATION OR ENROLLMENT OF ENGINEERS-IN-TRAINING.","body":"(a) The board shall certify or enroll as an engineer-in-training an applicant who meets the requirements of Subsection (b) if the applicant is otherwise qualified.\n(b) The board shall consider as minimum evidence that an applicant is qualified for certification or enrollment as an engineer-in-training if the applicant:\n(1) complies with the education and character requirements of Section 1001.302; and\n(2) has passed the board's examination in the fundamentals of engineering.\n(c) The fee for an engineer-in-training certificate or enrollment must accompany the application.\n(d) The certification or enrollment of an engineer-in-training is valid for eight years.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1421, Sec. 1, eff.
