Occupations Code § 1001.555","heading":"ATTORNEY GENERAL AS LEGAL ADVISOR; REPRESENTATION BY ATTORNEY GENERAL.","body":"(a) The attorney general shall:\n(1) act as legal advisor of the board;\n(2) provide legal assistance to the board as necessary to enforce this chapter or Chapter 1071 and make those laws effective; and\n(3) represent the board in an action brought to enforce this chapter or Chapter 1071.\n(b) This section does not affect the duties of local prosecuting officers.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1421, Sec. 1, eff.
