Occupations Code § 1002.051","heading":"BOARD MEMBERSHIP.","body":"(a) The Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists shall administer this chapter.\n(b) The board is composed of nine members appointed by the governor with the advice and consent of the senate.\n(c) Six members of the board must be licensed geoscientists.\n(d) Three members of the board must be members of the public.\n(e) Appointments to the board shall be made without regard to the race, color, disability, sex, religion, age, or national origin of the appointees.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1276, Sec. 14A.004(a), eff.
