Occupations Code § 1053.154","heading":"EXAMINATION REQUIRED.","body":"(a) An applicant for a certificate of registration must pass the examination adopted by the board.\n(b) The examination must cover subjects established by and must be graded according to board rules. The board by rule may adopt the examination of the National Council for Interior Design Qualification or a comparable examination.\n(c) The board shall determine the time and place for each examination. The examination shall be offered at least once a year. The board shall give reasonable public notice of the examination in the manner provided by board rule.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1421, Sec. 1, eff.
