Occupations Code § 1071.503","heading":"CIVIL PENALTY.","body":"(a) A person who violates this chapter or a rule adopted under this chapter is liable for a civil penalty not to exceed $1,500 for each violation.\n(b) At the request of the board, the attorney general shall bring an action to recover the civil penalty in the name of the state.\n(c) A civil penalty recovered under this section shall be deposited in the state treasury.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1421, Sec. 1, eff.
