Occupations Code § 1071.504","heading":"CRIMINAL PENALTY.","body":"(a) In this section, \"offer to practice\" has the meaning assigned by Section 1071.251.\n(b) A person commits an offense if the person:\n(1) engages in the practice of or offers to practice professional surveying or state land surveying in this state without being registered or licensed in accordance with this chapter;\n(2) presents or attempts to use another person's certificate of registration, license, or seal issued under this chapter;\n(3) gives false or forged evidence to obtain or assist another person in obtaining a certificate of registration or license; or\n(4) violates this chapter or a rule adopted by the board.\n(c) An offense under this section is a Class B misdemeanor.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1421, Sec. 1, eff.
