Occupations Code § 110.202","heading":"ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEMBERSHIP.","body":"(a) The executive head of each of the following agencies or that person's designated representative shall serve as a member of the interagency advisory committee:\n(1) Texas Department of Criminal Justice;\n(2) Texas Juvenile Justice Department;\n(3) the department;\n(4) Sam Houston State University;\n(5) Department of Family and Protective Services; and\n(6) Texas Council of Community Centers.\n(b) The director of each of the following divisions of a state agency or that person's designated representative shall serve as a member of the interagency advisory committee:\n(1) the criminal justice division of the governor's office; and\n(2) the sexual assault prevention and crisis services division of the office of the attorney general.\n(c) The council may appoint additional members to the interagency advisory committee as the council determines is necessary. An additional member appointed by the council must be a representative of a public or private nonprofit entity that has a demonstrated interest in improving the treatment of sex offenders.\n(d) If the executive head of a state agency or the director of a division designates a representative as a member of the interagency advisory committee, the representative must be, at the time of the designation and during the time of service on the committee, an officer or employee of the agency or division.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1276, Sec. 14.005(a), eff.
