Occupations Code § 1101.101","heading":"EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND OTHER PERSONNEL.","body":"(a) The commission shall appoint an executive director.\n(b) The commission may designate a subordinate officer as deputy executive director to act for the executive director in the executive director's absence.\n(c) The commission may employ other subordinate officers and employees necessary to administer and enforce this chapter and Chapter 1102, including a general counsel, attorneys, investigators, and support staff.\n(d) The commission shall determine the salaries of the executive director, officers, and employees of the commission.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1421, Sec. 2, eff.
