Occupations Code § 1101.151","heading":"GENERAL POWERS AND DUTIES OF COMMISSION.","body":"(a) The commission shall:\n(1) administer this chapter and Chapter 1102;\n(2) adopt rules and establish standards relating to permissible forms of advertising by a license holder acting as a residential rental locator;\n(3) maintain a registry of certificate holders; and\n(4) design and adopt a seal.\n(b) The commission may:\n(1) adopt and enforce rules necessary to administer this chapter and Chapter 1102; and\n(2) establish standards of conduct and ethics for persons licensed under this chapter and Chapter 1102 to:\n(A) fulfill the purposes of this chapter and Chapter 1102; and\n(B) ensure compliance with this chapter and Chapter 1102.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1421, Sec. 2, eff.
