Occupations Code § 1101.252","heading":"COMMITTEE MEMBERSHIP.","body":"(a) The Texas Real Estate Broker-Lawyer Committee consists of 13 members appointed as follows:\n(1) six members appointed by the commission;\n(2) six members of the State Bar of Texas appointed by the president of the state bar; and\n(3) one public member appointed by the governor.\n(b) Appointments to the committee shall be made without regard to the race, creed, sex, religion, or national origin of the appointee.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1421, Sec. 2, eff.
